From the response we had from last month’s review of Leadpages lots of our subscribers are really interested in finding out more about software that makes creating great looking web pages simple.  Optimizepress 2.0 is definately worth checking out too

So this month we wanted to add another resource we are using widely in our own business. It’s not just a favourite of our it’s also one of the chosen resources of a lot of the big internet names too including Ryan Lee, Brian Moran & Chris Farrell to name a few.

The software has been developed by our very own James Dyson and is the 2nd version of this popular software from its predecessor OP1.

One of the biggest expenses in my business was having to pay a web designer to create pages as I was a complete novice at anything technical. Also many web designers don’t really understand direct marketing fully and tend to create “glossy” designs that don’t really convert well. This is where Optimizepress 2.0 comes in.

OptimizePress Templates

One of the biggest and to my mind best, changes from v 1 to v 2 is the LIVE EDITOR. In v1 you had to use short codes which unless you were reasonably technical were a bit of a challenge. That’s all changed, I’m glad to report in v2.

James has introduced a stunning live editor (WYSIWYG) that makes creating stunning pages much more simple and quick. You can either chose from the existing templates or start with a blank canvas to create your own page layout.

You can choose from a system of columns, rows and elements. The options are only really limited by your imagination.

There are a huge library of elements at your disposal including :- buttons, arrows, feature boxes, images, guarantees, headlines, opt-in boxes, order boxes, pricing tables, Q&A Elements to name just a few.

Membership Sites

Another huge advantage has over its competitors is its ability to create membership site functions. V2 now has its membership site software which can allow you to secure downloads and drip feed content (in the past you needed to buy an additional plugin such as WishList Member).

Other Cool Stuff…

There are a whole host of other really cool features (too numerous) to list here but here are just a few :-

Image with Javascript Alert – You can have a still image of a video player, as something you’re offering for free, and then when people click on it, a pop up message will appear asking people to sign up to your list first.

One Time Offer Count Down – You can use this element to display a timer which will count down until the page expires. Then when the page expires, it will send people to a different page.

Exit Redirect – Use this option if you want anyone trying to exit your page via the browser close buttons to be shown a message and redirected to a URL of your choosing.

Split Testing Elements – I’m a bit tired of split testing complete pages, when all I’ve changed is a single element. Now you can add in code to the elements to test them. Simple.

Pricing Options

There are 3 pricing options to choose from (which is great dependant on how you intend using it. This is the bit I really love about OP2. You pay only the ONCE – no monthly payments unless you chose to become a member of the Optimizepress Club where you get additional templates each month.

10 Licences -$197
